The Auditor Role
The audits department at RBG strives to provide quality inventory related data to help our clients make informed business decisions. As an auditor for RBG, you will be asked to collect information about the products available at a specific retail store. This information includes but is not limited to description, pricing, and sales / promotion details. This position does not have education or experience requirements; however, we are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
- Self-Motivated - Compensation is based on the amount of work completed. This position has the highest level of autonomy.
- Discreet - Our audits are unannounced to prevent store level interference and requires our auditors to avoid/limit interactions with staff members.
- Reliable - Many projects are time sensitive, therefore rescheduling work is not always an option.
- Attention to Detail - The quality of the data we deliver directly depends on the care taken by our Auditors.
- Strong Communicators - Completing our projects is a team effort, so we're looking for candidates that can work well with Schedulers and Project Managers.
- Reading Comprehension - All of our assignments include specific guidelines. Some of these guidelines are very thorough so it's important that our Auditors adhere to them exactly as written.
A cell phone with the following features is required:
- Access to the internet.
- Ability to scan QR/UPC bar codes. (Most cell phones have this capability)
- IOS or Android systems.
As mentioned above, this position offers full job autonomy. We are happy to provide support when you need it, but your job duties will be completed without supervision. As an Independent Contractor, your continued relationship with RBG will depend on the quality of your work, which is measured by meeting your deadlines, how you communicate with RBG staff, and the accuracy of the information you provide.
